우리의 "구원"은 비정상인 것을 정상 회복한다는 뜻 곧 구출을 의미하는 것이고 새로이 창조함은 아니라는(그 구속/대속, 구출의 <방법>이 "새 창조" 그리고 "재출생"이라는 것뿐) 의미의 영생이란 점을 기억해야 합니다. 이는 다시 말해 비로소 우리 인간이 영생한다는 뜻이 아니라 이미 영생하고 있던 터였지만 범죄로 영생을 잃어버린 관계로 <영생하지 못함>에서 구원하여 <영생> 곧 이전 상태로 복귀시킨다는 뜻입니다. 그래서 "만유 회복"(행 3:21)이라는 것입니다. 다시 말해 이전 상태 즉 아담의 범죄 전에는 만유가 더 손볼 데가 없는 완전 무결의 정상으로서 완료됐음을 말합니다. 그렇기 때문에 하나님이 제7일에 쉬셨던 것입니다.
그러나 아담의 범죄로 모두 저주 받고 죽고 하는 등의 북새통이 일어남으로써 부득불 하나님은 다시 일하시게 됩니다(요 5:17). 지금도 이 "일하는"(고후 6:1) 상태는 지속되고 있습니다. 따라서 인간을 자연계 존재로 만드셨다가 이제 와서 다시 영생하는 자로 만드신다는 것은 모순이 되고 이치에 맞지 않습니다.
그런즉 전도시 이 사실을 알려야 함이니 바울의 아레오바고 전도에서 하나님을 "만민에게 생명과 호흡과 만물을 친히 주시는 천지의 주재"이시고 그리고 "우리가 다 그 소생임"을 말했듯이(행 17:24,25) 아래 두 가지 사실로 요약해서 말하면 간단 명료한 것입니다.
① 하나님은 영생하도록 우리 인간을 만드셨고 당연히 행복하게 살도록 생명(삶)의 법칙을 주셨으니 그것은 머리와 몸 관계에서 한 몸되는 체제로서 더 이상 있을 수 없는 가장 이상적으로 사는 법으로서 이 법대로 않을 때 죄가 되고 죽음이 오는 것이었다.
②그런데 불행히도 아담이 범죄하여 즉 생명의 법칙을 어기어 머리되시는 하나님의 말씀을 불복종하여 죽음으로써 오늘의 죽음과 인간고가 오게 된 것이다. 고로 아담을 위시해 모두가 죄를 짓고 죽은 자가 되어 있는 상태인즉, 다시는 이 생명의 법칙을 어기지 않고 죄를 짓지 않겠다는 결단을 하라는 것이 하나님의 당연하신 명령이시다.
③이렇게 회개를 했는지 아니했는지, 그리하여 가장 아름다운 삶의 방법대로 살 수 있는 생명의 법칙을 지키는지 그 여부대로 심판하여 영원 생명과 형벌에 처할 수 있는, 알기 쉽게 말해 "대체(代替) 아담 또는 새로운 아담"(그러나 성경에는 이런 말이 없음) 또는 대칭 아담(성경에서 말하는 "마지막 아담")이 계시어 장차 심판하시게 되어 있기 때문에 회개하라는 것이다. 회개하는 사람에게는 이 하나님이 "정하신 사람"이 구세주가 되시는 것이니 그로 말미암아 하나님이 우리를 새로 창조하시고(여기서 비로소 창조의 필요성이 나옴) 다시 출생하게 하심이다. 범죄로 없어졌던 아담 대신에 아담이 되신 것이다. 첫 사람 아담에게서 현재의 모든 인류가 나왔듯이 이제 이 새 아담으로부터 새 인류가 탄생하게 하시는 하나님의 구원이다. 죄 짓지 않는 따라서 다시는 죽지 않고 영원히 행복하게 사는 새 인류이다.
④이 예수(유대어로 "구원자"라는 뜻)님을 믿음으로써 그렇게 되는 것이니(요 3:16) 즉 하나님의 아들(양아들ㅡ원래는 우리가 하나님의 아들이 아니었으니까)이 된다. 모든 죄가 용서되고 다시는 죄 짓지 않고 의롭고 선하게 살 수 있는 능력이 친히 되어주시기 때문이다.
⑤이 세상은 아담을 죽음에 빠뜨린 악한 자가 아담 대신 왕노릇하면서 인간을 멸망시키려는 일념뿐인데다 또한 영생하기로 되어 있던 아담의 초자연계 몸에 비하면 그의 범죄로 말미암아 야기된 우리의 이 자연계 육체는 연약하고 초라하기 짝이 없는 목숨으로서 우리의 관심사가 아니니 우리의 구세주님(죽은 아담 대신 우리의 새 머리가 되신)께서 보여 주신 본을 따라 다른 사람들 구원해내기 위한 아버지 하나님의 일인 <인간 새 창조의 작업>을 하는 것이 본무이다.

아래 각종 영역을 보면 대다수가 "종"이라 되어 있지만 상당수 "거룩하신 어리신 이(Child)"라고 했고 "성자(聖子) 예수님"이라 한 데가 더러 눈에 띈다. 영역으로 child이니까 성별을 불문한 어린이란 뜻인데 우리말로 표현하기 어렵다. 결론은 "종"이라 번역하는 것이 무난하다고 대부분 판단했지만 원어의 뜻을 필자가 설명한 대로 "아기(child)"인 것이다. 이는 당시 성령의 인도로 또는 충만 중에(이 기도 후 다시 충만하심을 입었지만) 기도한 기도 즉 성령의 인도를 따라 기도한 그대로를 옮겼다는 판단인 것. 그래서 한 번역은 "성자/아기"라고 병행해 표기한 것이 있을 정도이다. 사실은 그렇더라도 감히 창조주이신 예수님을 "아기"라고 우리까지 직역할 수 있겠느냐 하여 의역(意譯)한 것이다. 성부 하나님 앞에서는 그 성자 하나님이시라도 "아기"이실 뿐이라는 사실만 알면 족한 것이다.
